Over the past months, we’ve been running a combination of internal use cases, multiple teams using the product themselves and running hands-on workshops called Lift Off Labs, bringing together Neptune developers, partners, and customers from around the world to work directly with Naia Build in live development scenarios.
Each Lift Off Lab is a two-hour interactive session where participants build applications, test new capabilities, challenge assumptions, and provide direct feedback to our product and engineering teams. These sessions have become an invaluable source of insight into how developers want to use AI inside enterprise development environments.

Many of the improvements included in this release were influenced by day-to-day use and feedback. From Prompt-to-Application workflows and SAP-aware application generation to documentation capabilities and AI-assisted development experiences, the direction of Naia Build has been shaped by real-world usage rather than only hypothetical use cases.

Use AI Agents Inside Enterprise Applications
A core part of the Neptune DXP vision has always been embedding AI directly into operational workflows, not treating AI as a disconnected side experience.
That is where Neptune Agent Studio fits in.
Neptune Agent Studio provides the centralized environment for configuring and managing AI agents inside Neptune applications. Teams can build Conversational Agents that interact with users through chat, alongside Agentic Functions that applications invoke programmatically when deterministic workflows are no longer enough.
What makes this powerful is that these agents operate as native components inside Neptune applications under the same governance, authentication, audit trail, and security model as the applications themselves.
Multi-model AI with support for Claude
This release expands Naia’s multi-model AI strategy. Foundation models for everyday development are included on every Neptune subscription. Premium models are activated under controlled trials for the work where first-pass quality matters most — complex SAP integration, multi-step workflows, agent orchestration. And with this release, customers can now bring their own keys for whichever premium model their organization standardizes on.
