Suits Blog: Neptune DXP 24.14: Powering the Agentic Enterprise.

Today, I am very proud to announce the release of Neptune DXP 24.14 to our customers and partners worldwide. At Neptune, our goal is to provide our customers with options. Options in terms of how and when they migrate to S/4Hana, options in terms of the deployment model they prefer or need, and options in terms of using AI for SAP Data. 

This new release of Neptune DXP brings meaningful enhancements across the entire product line, including the introduction of the Neptune Integration Hub for SAP Solutions, major extensions to the BTP Proxy and a secure new Vault service for enterprise-grade configuration management and options for Internationalization and Branding your applications. 

This release marks the next major milestone in our AI journey – one that began with Naia for Developers and now expands with the introduction of Naia for Business, transforming how enterprises build, deploy, and interact with AI Agents and build AI enabled applications. 

From AI Assistance to AI-Led Business Orchestration

When we launched Naia for Developers, we set out to supercharge the developer experience – using AI to remove friction from the application lifecycle. Developers could generate, refactor, and optimize code faster and automation of tasks directly within Neptune’s low-code environment, while staying compliant with enterprise and SAP standards. 

With Neptune DXP 24.14, we’re taking the next step: moving from AI-assisted development to AI-Led Orchestration. 

This means enabling AI not just to support development, but to become an active participant in how entire solutions and business processes operate, connect, are used and evolve – safely and intelligently across the enterprise landscape. 

Introducing Naia for Business: The Next Chapter in Enterprise AI 

Naia for Business is the centerpiece of the 24.14 release and represents a pivotal expansion of our AI strategy. Built natively into the Neptune DXP platform, Naia for Business transforms DXP into a true Enterprise AI Orchestration Platform – where AI Agents, Apps, Developers, and Business  

Users all work together within a governed, secure, and integrated framework. 

Its mission is simple yet transformative: To bring AI to where your business runs today – SAP, Salesforce.com, Oracle, Microsoft, ServiceNow, and your custom-built applications – and help every organization – large or small – become an Agentic Enterprise. 

The Value of Naia for Organizations 

Enterprises today face a clear paradox: while AI is everywhere, most organizations struggle to turn prototypes into production-ready solutions. They’re constrained by fragmented systems, outdated user interfaces, and disconnected workflows. At the same time, many AI tools lack the governance, compliance, and SAP integration needed to work at enterprise scale.

But there is more.  

Apps can also benefit from agentic actions performed by agents, such as a button that gets pressed to activate an AI function, instead of calling code to perform an action.  
 
Let’s use saving a travel expense as an example: The expenses, costs and receipts are passed to an agent that verifies it and returns a message that the data is correct, and it is then posted for approval. And if the data is not valid, the AI Agent reports that the amount of the receipt is lower than the value submitted for it. Apps and Agents work together to speed up the workflow and reduce errors and mistakes.

• Naia for Developers accelerates how teams build SAP-connected apps – now with enhanced code optimization, context-aware guidance, and built-in compliance checks. 

• Developers can build and deploy enterprise apps up to 60% faster, reducing repetitive work and technical debt. 

AI Orchestration Across Systems: 

• Naia for Business enables seamless orchestration across SAP and non-SAP systems. 

• With tools like the API Tool, Table Tool, and Script Tool, enterprises can securely expose data and logic to AI Agents, connecting information flows across systems with ease. 

Governance, Guardrails & Model Freedom: 

• Naia introduces AI Guardrails to ensure safe and governed AI use – defining business rules, restricting model outputs, and tracing every interaction.

Conversational Enterprise Experiences:

Availability and Preview Program 

Naia for Business will be available as part of the Neptune DXP 24.14 release starting December 2nd, 2025. It will launch under Preview Status, free of charge until June 30th, 2026. Our goal during the preview phase is to actively support early adopters, ensure seamless implementations, and collect real-world insights that further shape our future releases.
