It Starts with a Plan: How to Ensure You are maximizing the value of Your Digital Transformation with Low Code

We are long past the day when proclaiming the importance of digitizing a business is a novel idea. Business leaders are almost unanimously convinced of the importance of transforming to an agile business that reduces/eliminates paper processes, continuously drives efficiencies and positions their business to fully leverage business opportunities. These leaders are ready but, many find themselves overwhelmed or unprepared to execute the strategies and technologies required to realize their vision. As Neptune Software CEO Andreas Sulejewski recently wrote, successful digital transformations start with fully embracing them.

Clear of mission: I am very proud that my team accelerates enterprises and enables them to start executing their Digital Transformation strategies. We do this by helping them refine their digitalization goals and provide guidance on building actionable step-by-step plans that leverage Neptune Software’s unique low code platform solution.

Opportunity: We have seen over and over how this results in success and tangible business benefits. Hitachi Rail, a multi-billion-dollar, global end-to-end rail solutions company with over 10,000 employees, found a way. Hitachi’s corporate culture exemplifies the passionate pursuit of innovation to continuously improve all aspects of their businesses. In that pursuit, Hitachi identified multiple improvement opportunities to streamline business processes. To achieve these improvements, they had to find a way to increase the quality and amount of information that was flowing into their SAP system without disrupting their employees.

Results: Through a strategic partnership with Neptune Software, Hitachi was able to deliver the needed innovation to capture the benefits they envisioned. The initiative leveraged Neptune Software’s low code platform - Neptune DXP, to roll out 60 apps to 1,500 users in just two months. These apps not only increased the efficiencies Hitachi wanted, but they also delivered a unified user experience that was quickly adopted by end users too. Thanks to the Neptune DXP they also found that apps with both mobile and offline capabilities could be developed 70% faster than with other low code platforms.

There are multiple real-life examples of Fortune 500 companies and public organizations in Europe & the US benefitting from increased efficiencies delivering tangible cost savings.

Another example is Fonterra, a New Zealand food producer that captured $3.08 million in savings from their Neptune DXP pilot project. While companies vary in terms of industry, size, and goals, one thing remains constant, they all saw their business success maximized because they attacked digital transformation with the right plan and the right partners instead of shrinking away from the challenge.

This past year has demonstrated how technology has transformed our professional and personal lives - sounds like Neptune Software is doing good work to help businesses grow and adapt.
