Neptune UX Summit 2016 – Wrap Up
Wow. That is the only word that best describes the Neptune UX Summit 2016. We had an incredible lineup of presenters. The turnout was beyond anything we could have ever imagined. And the feedback and conversations we had were tremendously enlightening.
Saying thank you to those that attended and helped make the event a success doesn’t seem like enough, but we want to remind you that this was the first Neptune UX Summit and we will continue to show our appreciation in the years to come.

Ingvild Nygaard, Project Manager from DFØ, shares their experience developing an HR app that puts the user before the system. Highlighting how complex end user scenarios were simplified, this use case covers the planning, development and implementation steps taken to create apps for logging time, travel and absence, which are now available anywhere to over 80 000 end-users.
Vodafone Group chose Neptune Software as their UX development platform for desktop and mobility in October 2014, and has since then rolled out several desktop and mobile applications.
Giacomo Morittu, Mobility and Usability Manager at Vodafone Center of Excellence, takes you through his experience with Neptune Software and the applications they have rolled out in their organization world wide. Hear how Neptune Software helped solve one of Vodafone’s biggest system issues, while in the process allowing them to deliver a “Ready Business” model to their employees, using their ERP system, EVO SAP.
This use case illustrates how some of the biggest retail stores in Scandinavia are live with a complete SAP Fiori UX desktop based solution that leverages the Neptune Launchpad.
Sebastian Andersson from Elkjøp Nordic describes how their solution seamlessly links from the Neptune Launchpad to SAP ERP Retail, SAP F&R, JDA planograms and floorplans, and more.
Christoph Krenker, Head of IT at BHDT, talks about how BHDT are succeeding with Neptune – from their first talks and prototype apps, on to building an implementation plan for the «BHDT Apps 2016», making Neptune a central part of the ERP strategy at BHDT, and recently launched a whole RFID/Logistics/Industry 4.0 project that incorporates Neptune applications.
Techedge has over the past two years worked strategically with several global clients using the Neptune UX Platform to deliver cutting edge apps and solutions. This live presentation from Techedge highlights their experience using Neptune Software and demos a few of the unique apps they have built for their clients.
Knud von Breunig, Manager Omni-commerce and Mobile Solutions, Global IT, outlines how Neptune Software enabled BSN medical to overcome a lack of usability of existing solutions in a very short time period which had been caused by strategic changes in the application and infrastructure environment.
Trond Røvang is an SAP solution advisor/ solution architect and has a background from SAP Innovation Center in Potsdam. Mr. Røvang was on stage at Sapphire with Hasso Plattner and presented the news in SAP S/4HANA at Sapphire in 2015.This video gives a general overview, status and roadmap of the SAP S/4HANA, along with practical examples of existing and future solution scenarios that will help you prepare for the SAP time ahead.
Kjell Lloyd, Senior Technical Sales Architect from Zebra talks about their Mobility DNA and the use cases built on Neptune Software.
