Energie AG implements a mobile first strategy for service technicians.
Energie AG needed a way to bring mobile to their service technicians in the field. They wanted to establish an app development platform for the implementation of SAP Fiori requirements and do this while leveraging their strong in-house Web Dynpro programming expertise. Their overall goal was to implement a mobile-first strategy that made accessing and viewing the customer and technical object data for the technicians in the field convenient.
Energie AG partnered up with Neptune Software to unlock the power of mobile for their service technicians using the Neptune DX Platform.
Energie AG now has a mobile first strategy and have equipped their service technicians with mobile devices to drive efficiency in the field. They have a series of applications for displaying all relevant customer and plant information in the form of FactSheets, and all of the data needed is also available offline. They now have full control of field service activities via plant maintenance notifications with the possibility to trigger follow-up actions directly from the notification. While on-sight they are able to capture images and signatures with document integration and storage to the affected SAP object creating a better customer service experience as well. Energie AG gained a competitive advantage with the implementation of the Neptune DX Platform and in the process increased efficiency and reduced costs.
